Pepyn Dinandt to resign in June 2016 as Executive Director and CEO of Braas Monier Building Group S.A.

Pepyn Dinandt (53), Executive Director and CEO of Braas Monier Building Group S.A., has informed the company that he does not intend to seek a renewal of his appointment as Group CEO, expiring 30 June 2016, in order to pursue new professional challenges.

The company's Board of Directors will now initiate the search for a successor for Pepyn Dinandt, who will continue to manage the company until a successor is in place and ensure a frictionless handover.

Under Pepyn Dinandt's leadership over the past seven years, Braas Monier Building Group significantly strengthened its position as a leading manufacturer and supplier of pitched roof products, chimneys and energy systems. Together with the Senior Management team he successfully led the company through two economic downturns and improved its operational and financial profile materially. The company today is in an excellent position to fully concentrate on implementing its ambitious growth strategy, supported by the Board of Directors and the entire Management team at Braas Monier.

Pierre-Marie De Leener, Chairman of the Board of Directors, thanked Pepyn Dinandt wholeheartedly for the seven years he devoted to the success of Braas Monier Building Group and the achievements he has made to position the company for future growth.

Pepyn Dinandt has been the CEO of Braas Monier Building Group since July 2008. In addition to the regions and business lines, he is responsible for the central functions Corporate Office and Compliance, HR and Health & Safety, Group Communications and Investor Relations, Sales & Marketing, Strategy and special projects. 

Pepyn Dinandt has a Degree in economics from the University of Wales and started his career at Hewlett Packard before moving to McKinsey & Company. He then held a number of management positions in various industrial companies, including that of CEO at Mannesmann Plastics Machinery GmbH.
